Every Name Has A Story, Every Story Fuels Change
Hello! and Welcome !!
I’m Aimee, the creator and founder of RememberThe Name .
This web page and ccommunity was founded out of heartbreak.
My son Dylan , who had mental health struggles and a fentynal addiction
took his own life on Fathers day. June 16 th, 2024
Today, December 21, 2024, would have been his 29th birthday.
As a mother navigating the unimaginable grief of losing a child by suicide
due to struggles with mental illness and addiction
and myself as someone who has faced her own battles
with mental health and addiction,
I bring a unique perspective to this space.
rememberthename.org - is my way of turning pain into purpose
and creating a safe space to share and honor your storys. and your loved one.
all the lives lost to these struggles.
I do this to inspire hope and nurture healing in others
because my heart’s deepest wish is that no mother will ever have
to endure the unbearable pain of losing
a child to mental illness, addiction, or suicide.
My hearts prayer is for a future where no mother
has to bury her child due to these struggles.
This space is created for you, your loved ones,
and all whose lives have been impacted by these challenges.
Together, let’s build a compassionate community
rooted in support, understanding, and education.

Dedicated to you in your memory Dylan.
I have always told you since you were a small child
that the world would one day know your name,
I just didnt think it would be in this way.
Forever 28,
Momma
The Strength within
The road feels long, the night so deep,
Wounds unspoken, secrets keep.
The weight you carry, hard to bear,
A silent battle, no one aware.
But though the storm may rage and roar,
You’re stronger than you were before.
The human spirit, fierce and bright,
Was born to rise, was made for light.
No past mistake can steal your worth,
No pain can shake what lives from birth.
Within your heart, so pure, so true,
A presence waits to walk with you.
Not in the noise, not in the fray,
But in the quiet, hear Him say:
“You are loved, you’re not alone,
The strength you seek is yours to own.”
Turn inward now, though dark it seems,
Beyond the sorrow, beyond the dreams.
There, in stillness, you will find,
A healing force, a love divine.
The scars you bear, the nights you’ve cried,
The battles fought, the times you’ve tried—
They do not break, they do not bind,
They shape, they teach, they make you shine.
So rise again, breathe deep and true,
This world still needs the light in you.
Though pain may linger, do not fear
for hope will whisper, “God is near.”
